Clockwork Angel is the beginning of the Infernal Devices, a prequel series to Clare’s Mortal Instruments trilogy. This book is in a word: Great.

Clare has introduced new characters into a new setting, with familiar terminology, and some interesting backdrops.

Tessa Gray and Charlotte Branwell are two of the strong female characters. That is one point the Cassandra Clare has with me. I love to see strong female characters.

Her new male characters, Jem Carstairs and Will Herondale were equally impressive. Will with his sharp, rude tongue, and Jem with his kind wisdom and caring nature both make for great characters.

Their friendship can be compared very much to that of Jace and Alec from the Mortal Instruments, though it is much more subtle.

What is very good about this book as well is that you do not have to have read The Mortal Instruments before reading this. It is written so that we learn about the Shadow World as Tessa Gray does. Great job, Cassandra. Keep them coming!!

I actually don’t read biographies very often. However, Jodie Sweetin was an important part of my life as a child when she played Stephanie Tanner on Full House.

This book is both entertaining, and tragic, as it describes her struggle ot make it after a long stint on a show she grew up on. I am so proud of Jodie for being brave enough to speak out about her struggles.

This book should be a sign of hope for anyone who’s struggling with an addiction that can take over your entire life.

I have not been disappointed! And guess what? I have gotten myself into a new interest.

Pietr, and his entire family are great characters. The setting and the general story are tight, and gripping. I just wanted to keep right on reading! I hope the next few months up till February go by so fast.

I also want to thank the author for writing an outstanding, and original werewolf novel. Having been a fan of werewolves for many years, I am relieved to see more werewolf tales being released. This one is one of the best I have read in years. Thanks for the wonderful story!!

Eclipse was one of those movies that I was sort of nervous about seeing. Twilight Saga: Eclipse was my favorite book in the series. It had the least amount of Edward and Bella, and it also had more of hte wolves, and their culture. I love hearing legends of different cultures, so having that little scene with the bonfire worked very well. I was worried so much that it ended up making me sick. I did mean to worry, but not that much. As it turns out, I was worrying for nothing. This review will talk about the movies good points. This includes the look of the film, the casting choices of new characters, and the accuracy from book to screen. Eclipse is probably one of the best made of the Twilight Saga movies. I am really anxious to see Breaking Dawn now, just to see if it makes me love that story more. Anyway! On to the review.

The director, David Slade captured the mood of the story brilliantly. The way he filmed it, the way he set it up. It was great. I am going to be sorry to see him go. Even though Chris Weitz did a fine job, Slade has something that he didn’t. The original vision for Eclipse!

There were some scenes added to the movie that were not in the book. Riley’s turning, for instance, and the graduation. Which I was not sure fit, but it was awesome.

Now to the parts that are important. The chemistry between the cast is amazing. It has been gradually getting better and better. When you see the Cullens, Edward and Bella, and Jacob and Bella in this movie, you will be believing that this cast has really become these characters.

One of the key aspects in this movie is learning the past of Rosalie and Jasper. Being the history person I am, and always wanting to know the characters’ stories, this was my favorite in the book. The stories came to life wonderfully on screen. Jasper, as always, done very well.Jackson and Nikki give off the best performances as their characters to date.

I think my favorite part was seeing all of the wolves finally together. Even though Seth was not on the merchandise, he was done a lot of justice by Boo Boo Stewart. I want to hug Boo Boo so tightly. He did an amazing job. Another newcomer to the cast, Julia Jones is scathingly amazing as the bitter Leah Clearwater, the only female wolf of the pack. She left me wanting more!

The book to film adaptation for Eclipse is the best of the series. Melissa Rosenberg has done wonders. I am extremely impressed with her work on this film. I can only hope that Breaking Dawn will be just as good. I may not be a fan of that particular book as a whole, but there are certain aspects I liked.

The music aspect of Eclipse is another staple of the Twilight Saga movies. Being the music lover that I am, I am always looking for the music in the movies. This is not just the music on the soundtrack. I worry about the score not being right too, sometimes. The Twilight movies have all been right on the money where the music is concerned. Eclipse is no exception. The score was composed by Howard Shore. He does an amazing job bringing the mood of the story to life.

The soundtrack for the movie is a little bit edgier than the previous two. There are some great tracks on the CD as well, that are addictive, and honestly, I will probably fall in love with it.

I am so happy that Stephenie Meyer finally released a new book. I am SAD because it was quite short. I guess we know why it was called a novella, not a novel.

Length aside, it was a fantastic read. I read it one day. It was intense, and sad, and tragic. But I loved it. Bree was one of my favorite newborns in Eclipse, and it was interesting to see it from her point of view.

Jasper came off as kind of harsh, and scary. But I do remember that Jasper was in “Major Whitlock” mode. It was very frightening.

I can only imagine how Bree Tanner must have felt.

I am hoping that this is not the last we’ll hear of the Twilight verse. Though I can’t imagine what else Meyer could to top it.

This book makes a good stand alone, but it is best read with the Twilight Saga.

This is the second book in a trilogy that I feel is spellbinding, and amazing!! The Demon’s Covenant starts where the previous book, the Demon’s Lexicon left off.

If I am being honest, the book took me by surprise. It started off somewhat slow, though that could have just been all in my head, since Nick and Alan were not in the first three or four pages.

But I really did enjoy this book. It had a lot of twists, turns, and action. There was also some tragedy, and a little bit of romance thrown in.

Once again, Alan Ryves kept us guessing. He is one of those characters that you just really have to keep a close eye on. As a previous Alan fan girl, I enjoyed trying to figure him out. out.

The best part about this book is that we got to see a lot of Nick. We saw him trying to be a little bit more human for his brother, and maybe, even if he won’t admit it, for Mae.

I have totally switched alliances, and I can’t wait to read the final installment of the trilogy. Way to go, Sarah!

Okay, I’ve had some pretty weird dreams in the past, but last night’s left “weird” and went straight to nightmarish!

It started out kind of nice. I was at a dance with Lexi, and some other people that I didn’t know. Marcia was there. Apparently, we all lived in this apartment complex across from the Dance hall. The dance ended, and Marcia and I were walking her home.

Or maybe it wasn’t an apartment complex. Maybe we were living in a hotel, because half-way there, we come across a fancy swimming pool. I had thing device that was apparently like a PSP, but wasn’t. It fell in the swimming pool, so Marcia went to get it for me.

While I was walking the edge of it, Sam Uley, and Paul come up to me. Now, I think this is pretty cool at first, until I realize that they’re not being nice. They’re preying on me. Somehow, I end up in the pool. I think Paul pushes me in.

Now, I’m screaming, and freaking out because I’m in a cocktail dress, and it’s weighing me down. Embry comes up from behind me, and pulls me up so that I’m not drowning and what not.But that’s where the friendliness ends.

Paul comes up nearby, and Embry pretty much just hands me over, like he’s making a delivery. Paul starts making all kinds of sexual advances that I really don’t want. I try to stop him, but he gets a bit more violent. I mean, we’re talking about the wolf pack here. Before I know what’s happening, I’m backed against the wall of the pool, completely caged in.

I also remember EMbry and Jared forcing me to be still. I think that’s what frightened me most. After a while, they all seemed to look the same. Sam, and Jacob? They sort of disappeared. I Didn’t see them after that. Actually, I never even saw Jacob. Somehow, I did manage to get pulled out of the pool. I think it was Seth or Leah that did it. I honestly don’t remember.

While Paul never actually molested or raped me….-shudders- I think I woke up crying twice. I mean, it was bad, you guys. I haven’t had a dream like that…ever. I’ve never dreamed about Paul or any of the wolves, whom I see as my personal protectors, hurting me.

`These books pre-date Twilight by more than ten years. Fantastic fun! Stefan and Damon Salvatore have a sibling rivalry that is amazing, and intense.

Let me start by saying: I am so glad I finally gave this series a shot. I have not been disappointed! The Vampire Diaries might seem like it’s a rip off of Twilight Saga, but the truth is that this series was released in 1991!! Many, many years before Twilight was even thought of! So I will stop all prejudgments there.

The characters in this book series are very interesting. Elena, who was at first portrayed as shallow, really begins to grow on you. Stefan, Bonnie, Meredith, and Caroline are all great supporting roles.

To be honest with you, the character that stood out the most is the character you see the least until the end! Damon Salvatore, Stefan’s sinister, manipulative older brother.

The book climaxes, then ends very suddenly, forcing the reader to think twice about not continuing on to the second book, The Struggle. Which, I believe, was the point. It was very well done. If I didn’t have another book I wanted to read immediately, the Salvatore brothers would have me for another 200 + pages.

The Struggle takes up where Awakening leaves off. As expected, the intensity increased 100 fold. I am very excited to get to the last two books in the initial series.

It is finally here! The third installment of the Bad-Ass Faeries series! I got the opportunity to read this book pretty quickly, and I am glad I did.

This collection of stories is based around military faeries, and war. Each story highlights the trials and tribulations of the fae.

Fans of the series will be delighted to see the works of their favorite authors in a new way. Authors such as Trisha Wooldridge, Christy Tohara, DC Wilson, Bernie Mojzes, Danielle Ackley-McPhail, and others return to tell all-new stories.

Like with the previous two anthologies, each and ever tale presents the reader with a new set of interesting cares to care for, or hate (or love to hate!) If you read from beginning to end, you will want to know what adventures you will become a part of next!

There are a couple of newcomers as well. They slip into the ranks with the others perfectly. These talented authors write passionate stories with adventures, and heartbreak. It keeps the pages turning.

This anthology will delight those who love the fae, and those looking something out of their normal expectations. It leaves the readers hungry for more, and anticipating what the Bad-Ass series will come up with next!!
