Short Story Review: Party Crashers

I read “Party Crashers” by Trisha Wooldridge and Christy Tohara today, out of the Bad-Ass Faeries 2 book. This one, like the previous two, was very interesting. This story was different because it talked of Military. It was great. I really liked Monica and Roy Fletcher. They were depicted as your typical brother and sister. I love to see relationships like that portrayed in fiction.

Cameron was sweet. Not only do I LOVE the name Cameron, he generally cares for his group, and that speaks volumes with me.

I don’t read too many collaborative stories (usually one’s an illustrator the other a writer) so this was a good first one for me. I look forward to reading more from these two authors soon!

Trish, anytime. Feeling a little better today, actually. I am planning to review all the stories, because it’s important for authors to know what their readers think of their work. As a writer of fanfiction, I know it makes a difference to me when people tell me what they liked or didn’t like about my work.

Thank you for your review! I am glad you enjoyed the story. It’s great to see readers feel the same way we do about our characters! It’s awesome that you’re reading the whole anthology. Most people read maybe one or two stories of any anthology and don’t give much attention to the rest. I look forward to following your blog and keeping tabs on your future reviews!
